This July weekend...

What great weather this weekend despite all the thunderstorm warnings! Friday Rylee and I shopped and looked at the animals in the pet store while Daddy played tennis. Then Daddy grilled us some steaks when we got home.

Saturday we took a walk to Uncle Phil's. It was the first time we went to see his and Aunt Ashley's new apartment. It was really nice! They have a great apartment and 2 really cute gerbils. We only got to visit for a short time but plan on going back to swim in thier heated pool. Rylee has still yet to experience a pool. Oh and they have a HUGE picture of Kramer in their living room, LOL.
Sunday we went to Penitentiary Glenn in Lake Metro Parks to see a Wood Carving show. While we were there we found a mini train track that has been for 26 years. We got there too late to go for a ride but took a schedule and will be going back soon! They had so much to look at! Here is a hawk or something behind us.
And here's some pics from the ride home. My Mom says she looks like shes on a roller coaster! Hope everyone did something fun this weekend!

Another Milestone!

Our baby can grab! Yea! We are so proud of her! She has moved past just my hair and will reach and grab at anything she can get her little hands on. Watch her in action. The heavy breathing in the background is the dogs playing wrestle mania.

Hops didn't believe me, so he took a break from wrestling to see for himself.
She Loves Mr. Froggy!

Aunt Nancy stopped over this week and brought Rylee a new outfit. It's so cute! Here she is showing it to the dogs. The second pic is just a funny face by Aunt Nancy, lol.
Here she is watching MORE dog wrestling, she didn't have time to look at the camera for Mommy. All she needs is some straw in her mouth for the second pic.
Daddy bought Rylee this really cute hooded bath robe from Calvin Klien.
Yesterday we used GPS to find a Get Go, and it took us to Lakeshore Blvd. I had no idea we are soooo close to the lake! Here is Rylee getting her first glimpse of Lake Erie. First we went down a big muddy hill to get a closer look, the we looked from a swing. She was so calm she fell asleep.
Last night Daddy and Rylee had story time. Dr. Suess of course. Rylee was helping Daddy read, until I got the camera out.
Headed to the pet store now to look at the animals and try and find Bock another toy to destroy. Have a greeeat weekend, I know we will!

I was playing some laughing baby videos for Rylee and she was cracking up, it was so funny! What makes it even funnier is that it was right before bedtime so she was really cranky and crying in between each video. Crying, then laughing as soon as the video started. LOL!

We had a great weekend! Saturday we took Rylee to the Art Festival in downtown Willoughby. She was awake the majority of the time. She really enjoyed looking everything. We tried the stroller but she still hates it, so Daddy pushed around an empty stroller. She looked around from her favorite spot, it's is a better view for her anyway and easier for us to talk to her. We watched a balloon guy, well making baloon animals.
Daddy bought Rylee her first proffesional foot massage. She was smiling at the lady like crazy! The owner asked Daddy to send her the pictures for their website!
The masseuse gave Rylee 2 for one. Then she felt te water coming out of the big flower.

Here's Rylee laughing at Daddy while he changes her before we leave. Then...tooo long of a day.
Here's a quick clip so you can have some audio with that picture...

Sunday we didn't do much other than our regular walk. Rylee was on the cranky side. She is either teething or just going through a little fussy patch. So I'll finish the weekend post with a picture of me rocking my little precious crier to sleepy. She is so cuddly!

Monday Rylee and I took a car ride to The Aurora Farm Outlet Mall to pick up Daddy some tennis shoes. Regular $120 on sale for $49.99! We also stopped in the Carter store. THANK GOD we had limited time or I would have spent a fortune. We will be going back soon, there are many more stores we need to hit. Rylee really enjoyed looking at the ducks! Grammie works in Aurora so we stopped by to surprise her. As soon as she saw Rylee she grabbed her and headed out to show her off. Grammie's work mirror was plastered with pics of Rylee, now she wanted to show her friends the real thing! See the woman in the photo on the right? Ya, well Grammie left her sitting there like that for 20 minutes. LOL.
Showing her off and looking at the fishys. Sometimes Blogger just underlines stuff?
When we got home Nana was there. Rylee showed off her new clothes to Nana and Daddy.
Then it was Gramm time. They were in town and stopped to visit.
The kids went swimming and played with the dogs.Rylee watched from her usual spot. Then Aunt Judy dipped her foot in the pool and made her scream. Good Job Aunt Judy, lol.
Kayla can do some freaky things with her tongue. Seriously? Actually all of them could except for me. They made me try. I suck at it.
Rylee finished off her night with her first non mommy/daddy bath. Aunt Judy and Kayla gave the baby a nice relaxing bubble bath, thanks girls!
As usual, it was so nice to spend time with the Gramms. We missed Jeff and Megan and can't wait for the next time we get to see them.

In other Rylee news, we are pretty sure she is teething. She has all the signs; she drools buckets, she is constantly biting on anything and everything, she is abnormally fussier, and is not eating and sleeping as well. The tylenol and baby orajel seem to be helping. Maybe her first tooth will make an appearance soon! Not sure what's in store for the weekend, but I'm sure I'll fill ya in. Hope everyone had a great week!

Too sexy...?

Lol. I love this photo! What a great pose. We had another great weekend. This was Rylee's second outfit of the day. Her new thing is to poop up her back pretty much everyday. Sometimes 2x a day. Here's a couple more cute shots on Daddy's lap, and in her bumbo after getting her hair done.

Sunday we went to watch cousin Jaden's playoff softball game. She got a trophy! Yaaa Jaden! Austin wanted to hold his little cousin, how cute. Aunt Nancy made Rylee the new hat she is wearing.
We bought her an exer saucer yesterday. She is still to small for it unfortunately. I even tried shoving a blanket in there with her. I guess she will just have to look at her toys from Mom and Dad's lap for a bit longer. In a couple more weeks I think it will work better for her. Daddy had super fun putting it together!
Merle got me a pocket video camera!!!! I am sooooo excited! It is awesome and now I can share videos. Here is a couple that we got of her "talking". She plays hard to get with the camera's. As soon as she sees them, she gets straight face serious, what the heck?!?
