Bye-Bye Summer

I am anxious for the weather to change! Fall is my most favorite time of year! Lots of new stuff to show Rylee!

This weekend we took Rylee to the Lake Farm Park. She got to meet barn animals for the first time. Here's her first look at a piggly wiggly.
She thought the chickens were suuuper funny. Whenever they would cluck she would crack up! It was so cute. Daddy will have to upload that video, it's on his phone.

This thing had 3 horns!?! Just Rylee hanging out with Daddy.
Rylee and I had another great time this Tuesday at Kindermusik. I am so glad we found this class, she has such a good time. She was singing like crazy this time. Whenever the teacher would ask her to "CooCoo" back she would make a noise. Miss Linda was very impressed! We played the CD when we got home and Daddy got to hear her sing. This is her first "instrument" she got from her teacher.
It makes a chimey like sound when she shakes it. This week we got a paper describing all the different ways she is learning from this class. Movement Variety-moving in a variety of ways gives baby a chance to "see the world" from many perspectives thus strenthening neutral pathways. Variety of Sounds-Exposure to a variety of sounds and rythems is critical to intellectual development. Repitition-provides stabalization of the brains neutral pathways. Enriched envirorment, cognitive and motor development, ect... So much more than just fun!

We also just found Tiddlywinks story time at the Mentor Library. Just in time because the fall session starts next week!

Rylee's current MOST FAVORITE activity.....Bouncing! She loves this thing! This video is from last week. Now she bounces much harder and non stop!

She can sit up a bit in the shopping cart now. Here's her first attempt. She wasn't to sure where to hold on at first, LOL.
Of course the first thing she tried to do was eat the handle so I got her one of these.

Rylee likes to help me walk the dogs. She usually laughs the entire time we are walking.

Oh no! Mr. Fishy is squirting Rylee again!
Laughing with Daddy.

Playing her new piano.
Uncle Brian and Lucretia stopped by on Sunday to bring Rylee a couple presents. She got this cool Tye dye shirt with matching socks and the snail. Mommy got a heart pin that says "Rylee" on it. Uncle Brian fed Rylee her carrots and bananas before she was off to bath and bed.
That's it for now, more fun stuff planned for this weekend!

Excited for 1st Fall Season!

So we spent last weekend hitting all the Festivals. First it was Willoughby's Second Annual Corn Festival. Which was small but really nice. Roasted Corn, Mmmm. We decided to try the big stroller, she liked it! She sat up like this the whole time.
After Rylee let Mommy watch the entire Browns loss on Sunday(yippee) we went to Bedford's Oktoberfest. A lot of the same. We met Uncle Dave and Aunt Amanda there.
She is determined to sit up on her own a.s.a.p. Every time we put her in her chairs, she sits up right away. A bit more balance and she's got it!
Here's what Rylee was up to while Daddy and I watched the game. She loves her exersaucer so much! I often have to wait for her before we can leave because she's "busy" playing. Her Grapple is also one of her fav's.
Rylee being a Lovey with Daddy after her bath.
Just some cute shots I took before Rylee ate her Nana Oatmeal.
I bought her these "Mum Mums" so she could feed herself. She loves them! Although I am going to take a break giving them to her because even though they are only rice and starch they turn to like glue when wet and I think may be hurting her tummy.
She thought the flowers Daddy bought Mommy smelled nasty!
I ordered her Halloween costume yesterday. She wants to keep it a secret till Halloween. Here she is trying on her new pumpkin hat. She has a matching shirt and footsies.
She loves her doggies more and more everyday. When ever they get near her or wrestle she giggles and giggles. It's so cute! We took them to the dog park Wednesday, she had fun watching all the different size pups.
While walking around the Corn Festival on Saturday we stopped at the Kindermusik booth. Hook, Line and sinker. We went to our first class this past Tuesday and LOVED it! It's a lot of music, dancing and learning. There are 8 babies in her class. 2 under 3 months and some crawlers and a walker! She is in the 0 to 1 1/2 year class. I have a feeling she will attend Kindermusik for years to come!

More Fall activities this weekend!

5 months old!!

"5 months ago today".... I tell Rylee the story of her birth on the 8th of every month. Usually while were on a walk. She just sits and listens. Geez, it won't be long before she understands what I am saying! Here are a couple 5 month shots.
We have cherished every moment of these past 5 months and look forward to what's to come. She continues to plow through her milestones. She now says "mom, ma ma,..." daily. There is some controversy as to whether or not she associates it with me. Merle and I have decided we think she does. She says it when she is hungry, tired or someone else is holding her. She doesn't say it when I have her, and SCREAMS it when I leave her in her crib or anywhere else. Who really knows, but I enjoy it just the same. I melt every time! In this video she had been laying on the mat while I was getting ready in the morning. I walked out and she started. She was tired of laying on the floor.

She is now rolling back and forth at will and her back is getting stronger and stronger. It will be any time now that she can sit up! She can now hold herself up good enough to play in her exersaucer for awhile. Although she is more intrigued by the tag than many fun things around her! LOL! She can also bounce in her bouncer now!
We also have to buckle princess in now. She scoots her little butt out when shes tired of sitting. in the second pic....she was originally on her back in the middle of the mat!
She still loves bath time! Playing with her new fish. She giggles when Mr. Fish squirts her.

I was excited for the cooler weather so I could put Rylee in her first pair of teeny jeans and a hoodie. Look how cute she looks in her jeans!
We took a ride out to Garretsville last week to visit Grammie and Grandpa. Rylee was such a good girl and as usual enjoyed being outside.
We also took a ride out to Stow to visit cousin Dena, Christina and Blake. Rylee really likes watching 2 year old Christina.
Just Rylee is a basket. Why not?
Rylee and Daddy exploring at the pet store.
Nana stopped over to give Rylee the curtains she made for her room and give her a ride. Weee!
This past Saturday Nana and Rylee and myself met Nancy and fam at the Hartville Flea Market. Soooo much to look at! We had such a good time and can't wait to go back! We didn't even scratch the surface. The first item purchased was a new outfit for Rylee since she had a poop EXPLOSION on the way there.
Rylee wanted to eat like a big girl so we let her suck on a cracker during lunch. She wants EVERYTHING I have these days so Aunt Nancy gave her a taste of water.
She did great all day other than freaking out when she got hungry. She spent some time in the stroller, then rode around in the carrier the rest of the time. She really enjoyed looking at everything! In the top 2 pics she was watching a dancing witch.

She caught some Z's before lunch.
Big brother Austin knocked out Jaden's 2 front teeth while playing with a bouncy ball. Ouch! Austin says he should have gotten a cut of the money from the tooth fairy. Hahahaha!
Here's the first time she laughed from me tickling her. I was tickling her inner thighs..LOL.

I guess that's it for now!
