Music , Reading & Communication..

Rylee's love from music continues to grow every day. She knows that her house requires you to drop 2 balls down the chute to get Eensy Weensy Spider to play and does it many many many times in a row. She is learning the motions and LOVES to watch Mommy & Daddy do them. She has learned a few of the motions for wheels on the bus. We learn a new one each day. She can also clap to the beat, which her Kindermusik teacher takes full credit for. Here is Rylee and Ms. Linda below class started. And Rylee climbing in the instrument basket.
Merle & I are constantly amazed at the level of communication Rylee is at. She follows instructions like, "take off your socks"(no hand gestures), "put this in your toy box or clothes hamper", "Give Hops a kiss and hug", ect... Honestly I can't think of much she doesn't understand. She will mimic any word you ask her to say, and remembers what things are after being told once. She is a riot. She will wave and say "HI!" to most people out in public and always has strangers laughing. If she sets something down, you can ask her hours later to go and get it, and boom, she goes right for it. Can you tell we are amazed?! She has also gone nutso for books. She has always like to "read" them herself but will now bring them to Merle and I and sit on our lap. She would have us read books all day and sits through the entire book pointing things out and making the noises!

We took Rylee to an amazing playground called Prestons Hope. She had so much fun there!
We brought some Italian Ice for a snack, it was a SUPER hot day!
She stoles some kids ball again, while he was playing in the sand box.
We met Daddy after work last week at the Zoo to see the Dino Exhibit. She wanted to kiss all the Dinosaurs and kept saying "MWAH MWAH".
She called the giraffes "dada"? She ate a push up pop for a cool snack.
She loves rocking so much that we got her a pint size rocker for her room. She likes to climb on it as much as rock.
Playing in her ball pit. The pups like to peek in the window.
Playing on her slide. This kid has no fear.
Congrats to my brother Phil on getting engaged! He proposed to Ashley here at work in front of everyone. I called a fake meeting. She had NO IDEA. It was classic.
Another trip to the zoo, just Rylee and I.
She walked the entire switchback to the primates on her own(it's super long and steep). She had to stop and sit on every bench along the way.
Aunties fiance has a catering job every Friday at Legend Lakes golf course. We went to check it out. Since we know the chef, we eat free, nice. Rylee Auntie & I unknowingly ate DUCK confit pizza. It was actually pretty tasty. Weird but tasty. This is outside the hall.

Exploring in the kitchen.
Bushed.

Memorial Day weekend we drove out to Garresttville to visit Grammie & Grandpie. We had a cookout and played in a little pool. Rylee learned to shuck corn with Grammie.
We went for a walk on Memorial Day and got stuck in the rain at Walgreens. Daddy picked us up.
Our 2010 Memorial Day family photo. Rylee last Memorial Day weekend.
Rylee reading in the car and interrupting Daddy's tennis match.
Rylee has also taken a liking to matchbox cars and playdoh. She has her own artbox now and LOVES to make pictures.

Headed to the Zoo now. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
