I didn't want my thought to get lost in the comments, so here's a little P.S. post....
Merle could NOT have done better with Rylee. I had my concerns. Not because of Daddy, obviously, but because Rylee is nowhere near an "easy baby". She is not bad and can be very content, IF you do the right things at the right times. Finding a routine that works and keeping her constantly occupied had been my privilege for the most part. So with that said... taking her away from her home, her routine, and her Mom(nursing) was a challenge to be had. NOT FOR MY hubby and baby! Daddy is a natural. My joke for them to "pretend to need me" was sort of bitter sweet. His care and love for our daughter is second to none.
I love my perfect family. XOXO

I agree that it is so special to see a daddy take care of his baby solo. It's a proud accomplishment for Daddy to figure out what works without Mommy over the shoulder whispering "hints." Glad the trip to Dallas really solidified that the 3 of you can trust each other :) So are you guys done breastfeeding now? By the way, many congrats on GM of the Year!! Miss you guys ♥
