Her vocabulary continues to grow. Her latest hilarious saying is "OH MAN!" and says the "MAN" part with a deep southern accent. I am trying to get a video of some things she says before I finish this post.
We built a sand pit for her so that has been occupying most of our evenings. But again, anything outside is good with her. That is the only time she throws a fit, when it's time to come inside.
Another one of her favorite things to do is to play with her pups. She loves them so much. Cuddles with Hops. Now and at 3 months old.

They are so good to her. She can do WHATEVER she wants to them and they take it. She can even steal their bones right out of their mouth. I was sitting at my desk during the picture on the left. I said "Rylee..what are you standing on?" She replies."HopSSS". It was funny.
Uncle Walt came to dinner and spent some time with Rylee. XOXO
Rylee and I took a trip to the Lake Farm Park. It was especially exciting because she knows all of her animals and animal sounds now.
Her first pony ride on Sunshine. She said "neigh" all around the circle.
The Green House.

She finally found a slide she could get up and down all by herself.

She wanted to try this slide herself. I told her she was gonna crash.
She put the straw in and out of her juice box for 10 minutes.
This is her "I'm gonna get you" face. She LOVES to wrestle.
Back to the cows. I can't believe how small she was compared to this 1300 lb cow! We watched a milking demonstration. We were the only two there. Awkward.
Father's Day weekend we went to Perry to attend the Grand opening of the Perry Beach with Nana. Rylee wanted to swing first.
Then playtime inside before we took off for the beach.
Nana and Rylee waiting in line for our grub. Rylee would feed other people all day if she could. She was shoving frosting in Nana's mouth while she was eating her chicken.
It was B-E-A utiful!!
Nana stole one of those for Rylee. The pups were allowed to come!!
Rylee didn't really like the waves this time, so off to the pool we went. Nana was TOTALLY hitting on the life guard. She was all like, "So...it this busier than usual?..."
She was making fun of the boy in time out, then chilled with Nana.
Pumpkin Plant #1 & #2 that Nana planted for Rylee!! We are PUMPED!!
Rylee signed her own name on Daddy's Father's Day card. Rylee is a very lucky baby to have Merle for a Daddy. He would do anything in the world for her. I really like this poem;"Walk along side me Daddy and hold my little hand. I have so many things to learn that I don't yet understand. Teach me things to keep me safe from dangers everyday. Show me how to do my best at home, at school, at play. Every child needs a gentle hand to guide them as they grow. So walk along side me Daddy, We have a ...long way to go-"

She was trying SOO hard to make another imprint.
Daddy's gift found a home. :)
Father's Day last year.
Rylee missed the paper a bit while coloring her picture from Great Gram. Luckily she loves to clean up(we have a special song) so no harm done.

We went for her first, of what I am sure will be many, trips to the Great Lakes Science Center. She was able to make the hot air balloon go up by pushing a button. That is a rocket engine she is in.

Looking at germs through a microscope.
Hang Glider simulator.
LOL. She had fun in the ball pit.
BALLS!
They had a sweet outdoor exhibit we found 20 minutes before closing. :(*
We took a walk on the pier after it closed. There were thousands of seagulls.
Alyssa, Megan & Matt came to visit and we spent the day at the pool. Rylee really enjoyed her cousins company!
Sharing her popsicle with Lyss and sporting her sexy legs on the way home from the pool.

After the pool we took Rylee to a Hibachi Grill. As expected she really like watching the cook prepare our food. We let her go nuts in the sauce.

Last week we took a family trip to the West Side Market. Love that place.
The baby pool was closed last week. Rylee was ticked. She dropped a gummy under her beach chair. She just HAD to get it.
Riding Mr. Caterpillar.
She was doing some morning cooking.
My lil goof ball. She makes me laugh so much.

Bock popped her beach ball. She followed him around the house with it screaming his name.
Play Doh!!
Since Rylee thoroughly enjoys coloring with crayons, pencils, pens, sidewalk chalk, ect.. we decided to let her make her first painting project at The Spirit of Clay. (she is currently the profile picture for SOC on Facebook) She painted a tile and a dragonfly. We plan to make something with all of the tiles she paints over the years.
She did such a good job.
These are pics from last year.
Rylee loves Banana's the monkey. She plays with him every morning. Look how much she has grown!

I was just being friendly with the lifeguard!
ReplyDeleteIt is so wonderful to read about how much you and Merle love being parents. I truly enjoyed all the pictures and loved the videos. Thanks for taking the time to update this blog. I really loved the poem (of course it made me cry). Rylee is getting to be such a big little girl and it is nice to know about her activities. It appears she is smart too. It is easy to see how much fun you all have together.
